The 5th International Conference on Tropical Agrifood, Feed, and Fuel

 

The 5th International Conference on Tropical Agrifood, Feed, and Fuel (5th ICTAFF 2025) is a recurring international seminar organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Mulawarman. Building on the success of the first ICTAFF in 2018, the second was held in 2021, followed by the third in 2023, the fourth in 2024, and now the fifth ICTAFF is scheduled to to be heald hybrid form Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on November 5–6, 2025. The theme of conference is “Proofing Food Systems: Responding to the Demand for Farmer Welfare in a Changing World”

The International Conference on Tropical Agrifood, Feed and Fuel (ICTAFF) provides a platform for scientists, academics, policymakers, industry leaders, and development practitioners to exchange ideas, share research findings, and foster collaboration in advancing sustainable tropical agriculture.

This conference focuses on key issues surrounding food security, animal feed production, bio-based energy, and resilient agrifood systems—particularly in the context of tropical regions and global climate change. Through a combination of keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and networking events, ICTAFF aims to inspire innovative solutions and evidence-based practices to address current and emerging agricultural challenges.

 

The objectives of the conference are to:

·      Encourage scientific contributions and innovation in tropical food systems

·      Formulate strategies to improve farmer welfare in a changing era

·      Facilitate collaboration among academics, researchers, and stakeholders

·      Publish the latest research findings on indexed conference platforms
